Balasana – Child’s Pose

Bala means “child”. Balasana is a relaxation pose. In this position the spine bends forward 110 degrees, which provides excellent countertrension for stretches that require a backward tilt of the spine.

Technique

  1. Sitting position in Vajrasana .
  2. Exhale and slowly lean forward, resting your forehead on the ground .
